TOP PLAYER PERFORMANCES – MATCH FORMAT: OVER UNDER

This past weekend the Southern Conference convened for their season opener.  This season, in addition to team results, the Florida Grid League added a new player statistic tracking.  These statistics include a player’s impact score, the number of races entered, and the player’s entry-to-win percentage.

Each element in the match was given an element value (EV) based on the importance of the element to the race outcome. The EV is multiplied by the number of reps performed to generate an element score. All element scores combined generate an impact score.

For example, in the race Jack & Jill, bar muscle ups were given an EV of 1, ring muscle ups an EV of 2, and backward roll to support an EV of 3. A player performs 10 bar muscle ups, 3 ring muscle ups, and 1 backward roll to support  That player would have a Jack & Jill Impact Score of 19 or (10*1)+(3*2)+(1*3). The player’s impact scores for each race were then added to generate a total match impact score. The higher the impact score the higher the rep count and/or value each player contributed to the entire match.

Below are the top 5 match player impact scores from all athletes in the match and then the top 5 per team.  Tie breaks were broken for Impact score by the number of races a player was entered in and then the number of races the entry to win percentage.
