Katherine Jacaman

HOUSTON BANDITS

Strength Specialist

Height: 5’7
Weight: 175

Hi to anyone reading! My name is Katherine Jacaman, I want to say how excited I am to be able to participate and be a part of Grid League this year as a strength specialist. I’m a single mom, veteran, currently I’m in the Laredo Fire Academy working on my paramedic certification before graduation. I’ve been in and out of CrossFit for the past 12 years but my passion has always been the barbell. Competing has always been a passion of mine but between academies, work, and having my son it’s been taking a back seat; but I’m here now and ready to put in the work and represent the Houston Bandits! Keep an eye because I got a few heavy lifts coming your way!

MORE ABOUT THIS PLAYER

Single Mom, Fire Academy, Barbell Obsessed

Katherine Jacaman juggles three lives at once: raising her son, earning her paramedic certification at the Laredo Fire Academy, and finally, after 12 years in and out of CrossFit gyms, giving the barbell the space it has always demanded.

Her maxes tell the story of focus. A 220-pound snatch. A 265-pound clean and jerk. These are not accidental numbers. They come from years of showing up, competing in cycles and seasons, stepping back when life required it, then showing up again.

Now stationed with Houston Bandits as strength specialist number 11, Jacaman has cleared the schedule. She’s done waiting for the perfect time. The work is now.
