MORE ABOUT THIS PLAYER

From CrossFit Gym to the Grid: Jenny McGinnis Brings Competitive Fire to Houston Bandits

Jenny McGinnis didn’t set out to become a professional athlete—she started her fitness journey as a busy mom looking for a way to stay in shape. What began with CrossFit training in 2015 evolved into something far bigger. By 2020, McGinnis had made the leap to competitive CrossFit, proving she had what it took to compete at elite levels. Now, as a new utility player for the Houston Bandits, the 5’10” athlete from Schertz, Texas, is ready to bring that same grit and determination to the Grid.

With limited public information available about her background, McGinnis represents a fresh addition to the Bandits roster. Her combination of CrossFit conditioning and competitive experience gives her the foundation to compete across multiple positions in the United Grid League. As she settles into her role with Houston, teammates and fans alike will be watching to see how her unique path to professional sport translates on the Grid.
