ROOKIES WE MISSED ACCORDING TO PUBLIC POLL

While those “Rookies to Watch” picks were made purely based on top level accomplishments in other sports… we got a lot of pushback… and we’re here for it.

Let’s take a deeper look.

Nathan Cobb – Palm Beach Breakers

A few poll responses pointed out this miss. We did hear some rumors he put on quite a show at the Wild and Breakers scrimmage. One anonymous commenter called him “the new Griffin Roelle”. Bold statement to be sure.

Dani Berry – Las Vegas Venom

She has for sure proven she is very versatile on the bodyweight elements and can pick moments up quickly. This could have been a big miss.

Brynn Carrick – Atlanta Wild

She was mentioned a few times. She also was rumored to have put on a heck of a show at the scrimmage. Keep your eye on her.

Kawika Henderson – Atlanta Wild

He has Grid League history with the NPGL and is a beast. He will be one to watch for sure.

Matt Rattay – Houston Bandits

AKA Mighty Mouse… he’s got bodyweight speed and skill, for sure, and a bit of Eric Cardona vibes. We’ll see how they stack up across the Grid from each other this weekend.

Dana Paran – Sharks

She has been to the Rouge invitational and is one of just a few to accomplish this in the League. She also won some American Grid Trials tests against veterans in the League with fast and clean reps. She could have big impact for the Sharks.

John Young – Houston Bandits

When we put out a poll of who we missed in that post, he was the overwhelming leader in responses, much like the comment section of the original post. No doubt John is very strong, and has versatility that will be useful for the Bandits. Coach Sophia has been vocal about his positive influence on the team as well. No one can question he has the loudest support group. How will it translate to his performance on the Grid? Only one way to find out.
